Brandon Stewart of Dayton is no stranger to being a clutch kicker. Even though it was in a loss to Madison, Stewart tonight hit a 52-yard field goal with :21 left in the game to send it to overtime.

FLASHBACK.....
In FIFL Bowl V in 2003, Dayton defeated Black Hills 27-24 as Stewart hit a 44-yarder with :02 left in the game.

In FIFL Bowl III in 2001, Dayton defeated Utah in overtime 26-23 as Stewart hit the game winning 41-yard field goal 11:12 into overtime.

While he did miss a couple extra points this season, Stewart had a fantastic year in by hitting 84.0% (21/25) of his field goals, second only to former Machine and current Lightning kicker, James Pucci, who hit an amazing 88.5% (23/26).

The career best field goal percentage (with the minimum of 14 attempts in a season) was set by Kris Heppner (FWS) who in 1999 hit 88.9% of his field goals (16/18).
