Heck, I wouldn't want to play in that division either! :)

Seriously though, I can see advantages and disadvantages to both sides (realign or no realignment). Here's a breakdown of the moves/changes in each option:

Option #1
---------
St. Louis & Texas move to the National Conference
(St. Louis replaces Springfield and Texas replaces Utah and relocates)

Springfield & Utah move to the American Conference
(Springfield relocates to Pensacola and Utah relocates to Austin; both join the Gulf Division leaving the Central with 4 teams instead of 5)

Option #2
---------
St. Louis & Madison move to the National Conference
(Madison and St. Louis replace Black Hills and Fargo in the former Great Plains Division--now Mid West; Fargo & Black Hills move to the North West division)

Utah & Honolulu move to the American Conference
(Honolulu joins the Central Division; Utah relocates to Austin and joins the Gulf Division; Texas either moves to the Central or stays in the Gulf)

Option #3

Texas moves to the National Conference
(Texas relocates and replaces Utah)

Utah moves to the American Conference
(Utah relocates to Austin and replaces Texas in the Gulf Division)

Springfield relocates to Sioux Falls

Central and Great Plains Divisions remain intact from a team perspective

Option #4
---------
St. Louis, Fort Wayne & Madison move to the National Conference
(St. Louis & Madison replace Black Hills & Fargo in the Great Plains Division--now Mid West Division; Black Hills & Fargo move to the North West division with Portland & Colorado; Fort Wayne replaces Springfield in the Great Plains Division)

Springfield, Utah & Honolulu move to the American Conference
(Springfield relocates to Pensacola and Utah relocates to Austin; SPR & UTA join the Gulf Division; Honolulu & Texas relocate and join the Central Division; Central Division has 4 teams instead of 5)

Option #5

Division composition remains the same
Springfield relocates to Sioux Falls
