Jimmy enlists “…The Replacements…” Don’t know that y’all are familiar with the movie, but the theme is relevant. Louisiana has enlisted the “McKenzie Brothers” from the “SlapSshot” movie… and all the OTHER tough guys deemed necessary to ravage the FIFL in another effort to eclipse the elite in the FIFL for the championship this season. “We lost last week, but it was obvious to all we could have put up 45 points last week” raved GM Jimmy Hanlon. “It takes time for a team to gel, time we can no longer afford if we are to claim our intended goal of a another FIFL championship this season” ranted Hanlon. “We need to put Dayton away this week… BIG TIME. This needs to be our statement game if we are to gain our goal. This weeks practice hurt a number of players. The hitting was intense. No player was spared. It’s now or never. We do NOT intend to be the quality ‘spoiler’ team after this week. See y’all on the field Thursday.”
