Subject: Safari topples over-confident Smash Valley

The Fort Wayne Safari finaslly gave their die hard fans something to cheer about with their first win since Week 1.

The Safari handled Smash Valley 31-17, as 3rd string QB Blair Kiel went 21-27 for 320 yards and 2 TD's.

Kiel is starting as Coach Nelson has basically conceded the season and is looking at his youngsters.

"Frankly, Smash Valley's been running their mouths all week and we wanted to shut them up", said a happy Kiel.

"We have been looking towards the top pick next season, but we needed this victory", said Nelson.
