[I HATE that life dictates my decreased particition...] Dateline Baton Rouge... Poignant refrains from the Rolling Stones 12X5 album echoed in the distance... :"...TI IIIMMe is one my siiaed, yes it is... " The Louisiana franchise this season stared into the stolid face of an obvious rebuilding year. Severe measures are the expected course for less fortunate franchises. "This is one reason this ownership group felt fortunate to aquire this franchise" mused owner/GM Jimmy Hanlon. "WE knew that former ownership had placed this team in a very advantaegeous position. Our unconventional opportunistic personnel moves proped up this futuristic outlook. The result is, we expect to remain competitive throught this crisis mode. Yeah, we've made some mistakes... and despite our best intentions, our TCs have not been optimal. We've grown to accept that. Regardless, we feel confident we will continue to be comptitive in our division and conference for the foreseeable future." The personnel moves through the the 1st 3 games reflect the unexpected decrease in defense numbers. These changes paid off handsomely last week. Can the Beast expect this trend to continue? "We put our fate in the hands of the football gods this season" Hanlon said. "We expect no less than the FIFL Bowl trophy. Granted, with this team, our road is studded with pitfalls. The improvement of the up and coming teams and the continued successn of the monster clubs make this a difficult goal. Our fans need to understand we will show up for every game with this goal in mind. See y'all on the field this Sunday."
