The Unspoken
Fascination- captivation, irresistable attraction. Well, it seems the fair maid likes me. Not at all the first, but will she be the absolute last? Why not dive in? All's fair in love and war, I always say. But will this elegant shadow be manifest in the light? The moon wanes quickly, by dawn it shall be revealed, and if by daylight the image subsides, I shall wake up to the tears of my eyes.
The Revealed
The snake slid through the high foliage, larynx verbally echoing the fae's emotion. Eloquent march is played upon the horizon, echoing softly in the crisp, empty night air. Mallets hit the ground with aid from slender tripling appendages, which move in time with exhalation of the beast. Whicker escapes parted labrums as thorns fall back upon his silk veiled crown, a memorandum of his short wick. Shaking out his tresses, he flings his cranium high, waving his whip emphatically against the biting frozen wind. The adder swiftly reduces his sound output, sneaking around a nearby thicket, dangerously close to the intriguing metallica. He returns the playful gesture, adding a nudge towards the water hole. He stopped at the bank, dangling his labios into the chilling hydrogen-di-oxide. He takes in the element of his opposition, quenching the throat and replenishing his supply, yet burning his nares with the intake of the frigid atmosphere. He then picks up a stony flint and moves it away from the water, stepping back onto the carpeted field and lowering his ivories to the lush grass and devouring it. He swished his tail comfortably, again leaving his war garrison and standing peaceably. His surveilant ooids kept watch over the elegant shadow-fairy alongside him, guarding her beautiful snow-kissed form. He gradually moved along the riverside, chasing the waning moon, now half hidden by the predawn haze.
