But the thorns remain.

The blood bay femora stands upon a hill, a small cloud overhead blocking out the sun above her, so her shining red coat is shaded a deep bloodred, shadows casting an eerie darkness over her chisled features. A breeze whipped her mane and tail, which was elegantly kinked over her back in arab manner.

Her dished face was turned up to the clouds, drinking in the darkness, it seemed. There was a dark beauty about her, alluring and yet warning at the same time.. mystey. When she brought her face down, her eyes were brown, but they were steely, cold, unfeeling. They were the items through which you could see into her soul, but the door was slammed shut, and it took someone very special to attain the key.

Her beauty was that of a delicate rose, but when you gazed into her eyes, all that twas left was the thorns.
