Your comments come at an opportune time. I was feeling down when I came home tonight.

The kids and I drove up to the lake this afternoon to pay the annual rental fee for the two spaces our family has. After paying the bill at the office, I drove into the park to check our sites and found out the owner had taken out a wood plank walkway we had built to walk between our places and had started tearing out the woods between us to see if he could slip in another site. Man I was ticked, rent had gone up 200 each on the spots this year and now this. I talked to them and voiced my opinion, but I don't know if he listened or not.

We've had a choice wooded lakefront spot with excellant dock space for around 25 years now. Everyone wants it, so it isn't like he has to please us in order to keep us from moving out. Oh well, everything happens for a reason.

I'm trying hard to get people who generally haven't posted together to feel more comfortable with each other and I do see signs that it's starting to work.
