Their child was one and mine was 4. He doted over her constantly. He was so very loving and protective in his behavior it was touching. I know this will be so much more special to him now that he is older. The only thing he couldn't get clear in his head was where her adoptive mother fit into the picture. He kept calling her his other mother. The concept of both of them being adopted by different families and still having birth parents somewhere was too hard to grasp at 4.
