Sorry to hear things have been so pressing and/or busy for you, unless it's been a good kind of busy.

Whatever plans I had may be dashed at the moment. I went out to the car to take the kids to the store and discovered that my 8 yr old had taken my keys sometime after we got home yesterday and tried to start the van. He left them turned on and the battery is clear dead. I guess I'm just glad he didn't get it started.

It was my own fault. I stopped to untangle the dog chains on the way in from the van yesterday. Rather than put my wallet and keys on the ground while I worked on the chains, I handed them to my son and told him to put them on the kitchen table. I should have picked them up and put them away when I came in, but I didn't. Apparently he took them back outside while I was in the bedroom and tried to start the van with them.

The local mechanic is coming in the morning to charge it up. So I guess I'll decide what we do after that.
