That's it! Now you did it....not inviting them for a meal. hehee! Actually, their son is like 11 or 12. Not exactly the age to be playing with my kids. And last week I was giving out ice cream cones. Sometimes it's hard not to share when I have 4 kids...hehee...makes it seem like so many have ice cream. Anyway..there was a mix of kids playing by our place, so I offered. Since then, anytime my kids are outside with food...meaning I am shooing them out with food in their hands, this kid wanders over. Now mind you, if I thought he was actually hungry or low on food, totally different story. But put it together with how they all acted yesterday and the picture is more complete.

In fact, they were handing us popcorn and my daughter said, but mommy we have lots of popcorn at home. And immediately the other mom hushed her and said just take it cause I can use it. And I smiled and said well honey, yes, but that is the microwave kind for snacks and I might like some in the air popper so it's ok. It's just new for me....being around people like that. I am so quick not to judge and think most are like me. Last couple months I have seen such a wide variety of people though. Almost too eye-opening. I like my little sheltered world. hehee
