Subject: Update....probably long, but haven't started yet :p

So sorry to be away so much girly! Life is jam packed of fun and adventure right now! Let's see if I can give you the overview and email more later. Cause I do have a new phone number...I'll get that to you. Keeping the P.O. Box though.

Got the 3 bdrm apt. in the next town over. They have a daycare there....even too busy to get all the forms filled out to make the switch. That should be in place starting Monday though. Made an excellent (and honest...hehe) resume considering I haven't worked in 8 yrs. Turned that in for a part-time job at the college here. The job is Program Assistant in the volunteer literacy dept. Sounds wonderful and the entire job description I had done while volunteering with Gleaners. So made that the highlight. Coordinating the volunteers, staff and students. Some PR work and program advertising. Just my thing! And to top it off, a volunteer program but I get paid! :) Oh yeah! AND it pays $11.52hr for 12-15hrs a week. Which works with me going to school starting mid June.

I will be commuting the half hour between the two towns to keep the girls in the same school for the rest of the year. That'll run me about $75 in gas a week! Weeeee!

My computer is taken apart tomorrow and then I will finally move it all over to the apt. We moved the stuff from storage in Saturday...my dad and I. Had the kids there too, what a job! 9am - 10pm I will be dial-up again until I move out and get back into a house. A goal of mine. Not sure on the time limit, but have a 2 yr max at this place. Hoping to get out in a year though. Depends.

School will start June 17th...but don't know the classes until the week before when I register. If I don't get that job at the college, the guy that runs the work study program already has a couple interested parties wanting me to work with them. Weeeeee! Nice to be wanted already. He was impressed with my enthusiasm, organization and desire to take school all the way.

The lady that heads (not instructor) the class I am taking wrote me an incredible recommendation letter. Made me blush! But that is very cool and an asset I now have. That class ends May 30th if I don't get a job that interferes with it before then. (trying not to also...hehe..love the class!)

Just spent the day on the team building challenge course again today...what a thrill! Harnessed up and climbed the tree (don't know how high...like 3 ladders tall at least) and walked across the long log up between the 2 trees. They don't put those rungs/rings/grabber things too close together either! Sheesh! Long reaches for a short girl! That was a blast!

Is that enough updates?! hehehe! Mostly everyday is plum full of transition items of some kind. Maybe in July there will be some routine with a job, school and a home. Until then, day by day really. I am still excited and motivated, though broke. hehee But less broke on my own....funny how THAT should be! :))

Oh, and, Mikael has still been out a lot and haven't talked with him much. But aiming for a phone call here soon. I have a phone card that will work internationally now and my home phone is set for international just in case I can't find a cheaper rate with a card.

Gotta go clean this house and get it in order...kids are at grandma's tonight and then hand the key in tomorrow. One more thing done and out of the way of being an obstacle! YEAH!!! I will be in my chatroom late tonight though. Usually just two of us there...my cutie youngin' friend and I. He sings to me, writes poetry and we chitchat. Oh..and we talk about dreams now and then too. You are welcome to stop in and say hi and type a few lines if you'd like! :) Certainly not private.

And thanks for dropping by my board...just fighting to keep it breathing as well right now. :)
