This isn't just premenapause, I've had this problem since I was 11. What times I've tried to consult someone, it has always been a man and a family practitioner. the male doctors around here think all problems women have can be divided into two catagories, nerves and weight. If you are sick you either got a case of the "nerves" or you need to go on a diet! We have very few women doctors around here and I've just seldom used specialists.

I was raised by parents who are very much no nonsense, tough it out and go to the doctor only when your dead types. I think that comes from them being raised in the depression era and being rural poor as children.

I keep thinking that eventually I will go through menapause and I can quit having to contend with this.
