*Eyes close again* I've been sick, for... as long... as I can remember. *Sucks in a breath, and body goes rigid. Doesn't speak, then relaxes, breathing shallowly* I don't know... what it is... but... ah... it hurt, more and more over the years. Never... like... this though. Never this... bad... or for this long. *Almost laughs, but stops for the pain* I... I think... I'm dying.

*Covered in shadow, the body of a Shire lays. At closer look, dark chocolate eyes stare past the herd, past the trees and into nothing. A breeze blows by, carrying a small cloud of the horse's soul, translucent and wavering. The cloud stops, and shimmers into a shape reminiscent of a horse. The image stands still and lifts it's head to the wind, then roams aimlessly around, barely visible but still existing*
