Aquatic Dawn lifted her arms and was about to scream out the name of her favored attack, Oceanic Maelstrom, when the sakura petals made it no longer necessary.
"Big mistake," she coughed, and prepared once again to attack while the going was good, but was stopped.
By her mom.
"Don't be foolish," Michiru, the senior Kai'ou said, "don't make it harder for you to recover for future battles, ones where the other senshi might be present.Save your energy!"
"But it could be a trick," Aquatic Dawn wavered, her transformed state flickering in and out of being. She concentrated fully, and remained in her fuku for the time being.
"Then let them attack first."
"Then it will be a harder battle!"
"But give them a chance to leave," Michiru sternly advised, "the conditions will be optimal for you."
Aquatic Dawn glared, not truly agreeing with her mom in spirit, but didn't know if she could handle a freshly opened battle. Thus, she waited to see what the actions of the enemy would prove to be.
