Arietta paced down the hall, fuming.
Now, where is that dungeon? she pondered, as she realized she had forgotten. I'll be damned if I can't break in because I forgot where--
She then suddenly remembered where it was because she remembered trying to stuff one of her friends from school in there when she was pissed off. She was only five, but man was her butt sore after that one.
Arietta raced to the door of the dungeon, but halted quite a ways from the door. She stood silently against the wall, stunned that there were actually guards to bar her way.
Geez, Arietta mentally slapped her head. She actually got GUARDS to keep me from busting Kodoku out? Man, if she wasn't on our side, I'd kick her--
But Arietta's musings were cut short as the guards began to shuffle around.
"Ya hear that?" one of them grunted.
"I didn't hear anything," the other assured.
Damn straight you didn't I'm being friggin silent! Arietta blinked.
Arietta closed her eyes. Here goes nothin', she gritted her teeth.
"Now I know I heard something!" A guard snarled.
"Yes, you did!" Arietta shouted, holding her transformation pen in the air. She was shaking in her booties, but didn't let on. "Aquatic Dawn Planet Power, MAKE UP!" she shouted.
Her transformation went through uninterrupted, and she faced the guards with wrath in her eyes.
"Now," she said quite self-assuredly, though inwardly she was ready to wet her pants, "let's rumble!"
Aquatic Dawn prayed that these guards weren't really anything to be reckoned with. She hoped that Haruka wasn't insane enough to waste good palace guards on abusing her daughter. She hoped that, drunk as she was, she could actually hit them with any of her powers.
Mental note, Arietta frowned, Don't get drunk again. It makes you too impulsive. HIC!
