Abby, like you my wife was ok with my love for diapers at first, now she seems somewhat repulsed by them. Her main thing that has stopped is at one time she would actually wear them for me. I too like to "use" them, when I do I will put them in the trash, if there is any smell to them I immediately bag them and take them out to the trash.
I think what bothers me the most is I finally came out of the "closet" with her and she seemed very cool about it prior to getting married (8 years next week), but more recently she doesn't want to take part with me in my fantasy any longer (actually who am I kidding, she doesn't want sexual activity at all...).
Anyway, what I started doing is using them when I am home alone, it isn't often but it works. I do sleep in them still from time to time, somehow I just sleep better.
All I can really say is he felt secure in telling you and in your acceptance of it but now he feels you are turning your back on him. Perhaps he is worried that you will "flip-flop" on other items as well.
Just please remember, if he is anything like me and many others like me. He held this dark secret in since he was 5 or 6 and finally you were the special won that earned his trust (my wife was my first and I was 31 or 32, she found wet diapers in a closet at my apartment and claimed it was sick that the previous tenants left them like that. I fessed thinking, well if she loves me she will accept it, better to find out now than later). Another thing regardless of the trust thing, your desire to wear a diaper when you feel as I do is like an adiction... it does have control on your mind.
Oh and BTW, I am not in one now but had plan to be until I saw your letter.
