..... Jesus made clear that there is a separation between the "normal" community called "The World", and the special, loving, community called "The Kingdom of God". And the only people authorized to call themelves "Christians" are those living in that kingdom, with a communal lifstyle described in Acts 2:44-47 and Acts 4: 32-37. As more and more qualify to enter the kingdom, they, at the same time, leave the world. And the hope is that eventually NOBODY would remain in the world. That would be the end of the world.
..... Obviously those who still are in the world can participate in elections, but they are NOT Christians while still in the world.
