Subject: This is not ranting, only voicing an opinion
In reply to: Katie 's message, "Jen, I have never read such bollocks in my life. Stop trying to make DG look as chilldish as you." on 18:32:30 05/16/03 Fri

Listen. My post was a matter of sheer opinion. Not here to blast anyone to hell over it. What few who seemed to take such a great offense need to stop and think for a bit. I never bashed DG for any of this. Nor anyone else for that matter.

Actually, I was upset at seeing everyone fighting over the decision if the Shrine should remain up or not. If I was bashing her, I wouldn't have said in my message that I *hate* to see her upset. There are no "bollocks" about what I said. It's only mere truth and agreement to what a lot of people were voicing about this entire ball of shit. What cannot be denied is that this situation has indeed grown old and moldy. Chaos you're right, this is one morbid, dead horse. It just needs to be let to rest.

Fed up: I agree that I have caused some people to have a low opinion of me, and that is my own problem. I can say the same that I've had a low opinion of some people before, but that's changed. Learning to understand someone when they're willing to change is one step to heightening one's regard about another. I can/am changing, so maybe you'll be able to gain a higher opinion of me later on.

Also. I am not trying to tell the mods what to do. Isn't my place. Just merely agreeing with what other people said about keeping the MIL and war problem off of here.

Katie: Please. We don't need to yell. Can't we keep it civil? Everyone has asked, including me that everyone not fight and I believe everyone would like to see that happen. I ask you, if you have any complaints with me, please take it to e-mail or PM me on PR? It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, Thanks Leto. I am glad you've decided to give me the benefit of the doubt. It's nice to see that you're willing to give me a change. I really take that very highly. You're really a good person, like a lot of other people here, after all. ^^;;

As with the shrine. It's been handled. DG and I discussed it and decided to leave it up as long as none of my new material, I.E. fics, RPs etc get posted. She has also agreed to allow me to post a little blurb containing a message telling how I've changed and things to the sort so my rep with MIL isn't further continued. I feel this is fair and if things get out of control with the Shrine, DG and I have agreed to handle it. No worries.

With that said. I hope we can all just resume being friends. Even though we all don't see eye to eye, I would just like to see this humble board resume to the way it was and all just have fun. If we can do that, then maybe I'll hang around.

In truth, I do like this board, and some of the people. It would be nice to join in on the excitement that goes on here. ^-^;;

>>A solution to all of this? Here again another valid

>>
>>I also concur with the idea of letting anyone know who
>>decides to bring this up, that this forum is

>>
>>Just like Vie said no fighting; anything posted with
>>high probability of generating problems asked her

>>everyday society because of fear of encroaching on
>>one's rights. Rules are there to keep order, not to
>>remove rights. Without rules, we'd have chaos. So,
>>don't be afraid to enforce some mild, acceptable
>>rules. It's well within your limits.
>>
>>Furthermore, the debate over the shrine, I profess to
>>just let that decision be between DG, Nimberthril and
>>I. Just out of request, I ask everyone to please stay
>>out of it from here on. Everyone got a chance to

>>
>>I would also like to add another request. Since most
>>of you have either silently or publicly decided that
>>he/she has chosen to take the high road, I yet again
>>out of respect ask that those of you please refer to
>>me by my real name or my PR alias. Some people
>>expressed that the prodding, poking and baiting of me
>>needs to stop; the first thing I would like to see
>>enforcing that is to cut my ties with the LQ name. As

>>people, in which is true, and I am not taking
>>responsibility for the name anymore. I still say who

>>stopped. I cannot push those who wish to continue with
>>the obsession, however, for those of you who wish to
>>end it, but haven't begun to refer to me as Jen,
>>please do so. I would greatly appreciate it.
>>
>>I just hope this doesn't continue to cause an uproar.
>>I feel that in the wake of this mess; DG is taking it
>>pretty hard. I am not sure, but from her actions last
>>night, and the strange abnormality that she failed to
>>appear on any IM, (Which is unusual for her since she
>>is always on) I feel this entire debate has caused her
>>some distress.
>>
>>I feel bad. If this has, to a degree I want to take
>>the blame. Why? Because the whole root of it leads
>>back to me and I hate/despise to see her upset. I feel
>>she doesn't deserve the grief, and I hope I can
>>rectify it soon.
>>
>>I finally add in my own agreement to end all of this
>>as well. Moving the discussions to another board isn't
>>stopping it, only detouring it to another place to be
>>continued. Either way, it is still a form of baiting
>>and if you enforce or support the ending of MIL, then
