Subject: Um, I need a bit of help....

I've just been notified by another author that they "believe" there may be a problem because their story, "What She Wants",
and my story, Wickedly Delicious, are very similar.

Since I wrote and finished my story way before she started hers, she's been accused by one of her readers of stealing from my story, which she told me she didn't do, at least not intentionally. She admits "borrowing" from my story. I asked for a link to the story and checked it out. O_o...she took a bit more from my story than I'm comfortable with.

I'm not mad, but I'm worried that if this isn't nipped in the bud right now, that this could become a plagiarism problem. I went through this once and it turned into a big big thing, which was probably my fault and I want to know how I can end this as quickly and nicely as possible, without anyone getting their feelings hurt.

I think her story could be good on it's own, without references to my story. I said so in the email I sent her.

I'm sorry I've said so much. I'm just a little...well I don't like the idea of being plagiarized, even unintentionally, which I'm sure it was. Does anyone have any advise for me :(?

P.S. I added the links so that you can compare the stories for yourselves and see what you think.
