Well, I kind of think people on both sides of the issue are getting a little too upset about it, but I'd have to agree that this new shrine is a little over the top. For one thing, it's openly derogatory. For the most part, EW's shrine (or DG, if you prefer ^_^ ) doesn't judge, it just posts LQ's own words and lets you decide for yourself. And if it's really true that LQ has agreed to allow her to do so, well then, all the better. But this new shrine is just a little unnecessary. It mostly repeats things we think here, but in a much more public manner, and personally, even if LQ HAS said something about it online, I really don't feel right about publicizing her sexual habits and preferences. :P So uh...no matter what the truth is about the "game cartridge" statements, it's something I just don't think should be on a website. Yes, I know we talk about it on this forum, but...somehow that seems different to me. I don't know.

But yeah, the shrine is beautifully designed, but I'd really like to see that design used for something a little more worthwhile and less inflammatory...say, a shrine for *gasp* good fanfics! I know some must exist, somewhere...I could even direct people to a few good Legend of Zelda fics, if you can believe it...might help us forget the horror that is MIL.
