I must agree.

The worldview of a typical teenager, particularly one in their early teens, just isn't going to be very objective or realistic. That's all there is to it.
They're kids, and they're reacting to life the way most kids do. Eventually they will grow out of it. But until that time, please remember that the vast majority of us were no different when we were that age.
