I defense of those at PR (and I won't dispute any of your comments), people tend to relax in the way of correct mechanics when they're online. And that kind of horrible writing is rampant all over the 'net. I've resigned myself to it, and when I come across a post (anywhere) that's illegible, I simply skip over it. They're usually the posts with only fluff and spun sugar as content, so I'm not missing anything. And those at PR are mostly teens. I remember when I was that age, I was much the same way, and I grew out of it. Beneath all the angst and stuff that the older folks find annoying, I can see that many of them have good hearts and a good head on their shoulders, and I think they'll turn out just fine when they grow up. LQ, who is 24, has no legit excuse for acting years younger than her age, but most of them ARE teens, so I cut them slack on that front. In the writing section, most of them seem open to polite constructive criticism, which gives them good marks in my mind.

Vi is a prime example of what I enjoy about most of the people at PR. Mature, well-spoken, polite. Yes, she can be silly and say stuff that makes no sense, but that's in posts where the aim is to be goofy and nuts. She likes LQ, but she does not rail against us here, and I have noticed that LQ has been removed as a mod on PR. Vi is handling the issues that came up in a mature manner, and she is not letting friendship get in the way of doing to LQ what she would do to anyone who was repeatedly breaking set board rules. And I respect that highly, as having to take action against friends can be very, very hard to do at any age.
