I am very happy. Very, very happy. Logically, I shouldn't be this happy. Wondering what I'm rambling about? Well, if you've been spared my babling about this up until now, consider yourself lucky. *grins and bounces happily*

Hmm... where to start? Ah!

Okay, yesterday was the last day of classes for us. My friends and I decided that a little party was in order. So, we went and bought bunch of snacks (14L of iced tea and waaaay too much junk food), gathered up all the anime we haven't had a chance to watch yet this year, and headed off to one person's place to enjoy the evening. (Amusing side note: the actual processes involved in getting six hyperactive, wired, happy, excited people who are all _very_ independantly minded and prone to being quite spontanious in the same place at the same time with everything they needed took about two and a half hours.) So. We got there, had a hell of a good time, took turns playing Go and watching anime, and finally decided to call it a night at 5am (only because our eyes were bluring so much that we couldn't read the subtitles). I got home and (of course) instantly logged on to the 'net. After all, I hadn't been online in almost 24 hours. ^_^; That takes an hour. A couple of other things mean that it's 7:30am by the time I crawl into bed. I admire the sunrise and read for a little bit, then just as I'm ready to go to sleep, the phone rings! Y'see, I've been hoping to get a summer job at the local zoo, and there is a position open, so I handed in my application three and a half weeks ago, and the guy doing the hiring (who I've known since last semester) told me to expect a call last week. Well, I hadn't gotten a call by Friday of last week, and I was getting a bit worried (massive understatement there ^_^;) so I gave him a call and it turned out that he was going to be away on vacation until Monday of this week. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! So ever since Monday I've been a bit nervous, waiting for a call from him. (and now back to the opening premise of this ramble!) The phone call this morning was from him! I got an interview! Yes! It's set for next week... I really hope I get this job. So now I'm happy, rather excited, and no longer tired in the slightest (which is going to catch up with me tonight, ah well).

*crosses fingers* I really, really, really, really hope I get this job.

PS: You think I'm wired now? Wait til you read me if I do get the job!
