O_O No one said anything about banning LQ. Where'd that come from? The only reason I brought it up was because you made a broad statement, saying that you disliked anyone who was a racist or homophobe or religious bigot. I just pointed out to you that you have all of those "qualities" in LQ. And that perhaps instead of saying "I won't stand for that," you might say, "I'd make allowances for my friends." That's my only point.

She's not bright enough to change. Plus, it is really, really difficult to get a redneck to sincerely change. Though, they have occasionally lied about it to gain someone's favor. "Oh me? Yeah, I said those things, but I A) didn't mean them or B) I spoke in anger or C) I don't think that way anymore. Really! Sowwy! I'm different! Nicer! Evolved! Blah blah!" But in their hearts is still intolerance. :/

That's just in my experience.
