I wonder why I torture myself, too. I mean, technically I shouldn't be letting any of it bother me. But the IDEA of it just SITTING there, being reviewed by creepy people who somehow think it's GOOD when it's obviously CRAP ... it's wrong!
Ya know what the worst is, though? When a person who can spell and appears to have a fully functioning brain as opposed to a wind-up mouse writes a long essay about how people have no right to dislike a story just because it's a Mary Sue and there are plot holes and the characterization is awful and there are no line breaks. That kind of thing just makes me lose faith in humanity.
