True, I am not perfect, ego can be ones worst enemy and one's finest teacher.
I strive for goodness every day and every day I fail.

However, living a lifestyle that tries not to cause deliberate harm, whether by word or deed to any living thing, I would call striving towards the lighter end of spirituality, and I do know the difference between choosing to "protect" others by telling the plain, unadulterated truth and deliberately trying to cause upset by the careful and quite deliberate choosing of emotive and insulting words in order to cause the maximum amount of harm possible.

So yes I am egotistical being as are everyone else, yes I try to control this tendency, yes I fail depressingly often in this.

But I do know the difference between telling it how it is and shall we say " making the biggest impact possible".
