 THere are hardly any mediums left in the churches at the this exact moment, it is psychicsm. Nothing wrong with psychics but they should not be on church platforms giving uninformed opinions. Even saying psychic is an insult for genuine psychics can read the auric field but nothing else we have mad rod for own backs by confusing people with apellations such as Psychic, clairvoyant etc for practitioners of spiritual communication.
Scientists seem to suggest that man is hard wired to the spiritual in what ever form, it is an urgent need to look beyond ourselves.
Spiritualism was instigated by the Spirit world not the fox sisters they were only catalysts to the truth of Spiritual communication and they were not the only one to speak of Spiritual communication let us see Hildgard of BIngen, Goethe,Swedenbourg and ANdrew Jackson Davies (A Pioneer of before SPiritualism was brought into being.) Theree have been instances of communication throughout the centuries and they cannot allbe put down to drugs illnesses such as epilepsy. Even mow there scientists doing research into Consciousness and altered states of the same.
Genuine Spiritualist have inquiriing minds and research into many different avenues of interest. Occultist do not do what they do without reward and more often or not they do not bradcast their findings for they know that Society is not ready for tha kind of knowledge. Man seek ever the deepst parts of his nner self not just the surface parameters. We can no loger say that we are serving the bereaved for we are only pandering to senasationilism and voyeaurism in respect of what Spiritualism is or should be.
God give me Strength to stay a Spiritualist because it seems we have become entertainers to the curious and when thsy get bored they will go onto the next attraction in the circus. wE are not going to get leadership from the higher echelons of Spiritualism in any camp. SO bye, bybe Spiritualism Congregations falling and will continue because people are begginning to realise that what is being put in front of them is not even near SPiritual communication. It only seem that hurt and hypocrisy is the result of this inability to give true communication. People who are unstable should not be allued to start a Mediumship course for their own sake as well as others. When someone is running a church says they cannot preclude someone with thos kind of problems then ignorance is to the fore. Spiritualism is not ever going to improve until the hierarchy move to change but then saying that SPirit will interevene in ways we cannot comprehand.thye have had enough. Lets wait and see
