If, like me, your web browser got hijacked by the 'Babylon Search Engine' there's an esay way to get rid of it so don't worry!
"Babylon Search got on your computer after you have installed another free software or add-on that was bundled into their installer. You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this Babylon browser hijacker. Be very careful what you agree to install. Always opt for the custom installation and deselect anything that is not familiar, especially optional software that you never wanted to download and install in the first place. It goes without saying that you should not install software that you don’t trust".
I do this all the time and still I got it! It just appeared on my computer yesterday. How it got there I don't know as I haven't installed any programs lately. I can only assume it was waiting somewhere in the wings to pop out! Rascal!
Now, to get rid of this pest go to malwaretips.com Click here. There are a number of options here to choose from. I chose 'adwcleaner' as this is a no-brainer to use! My browser is now free from the claws of Babylon! :-) Pass this info on if you know of anyone else that has been hijacked. This hijacker is doing the rounds on the net at the moment. So watch OUT!
