The winds blow
thoughts of you
in my direction
a tickle down my spine
a whisper in my ear

so recent your depature
so deep my desire

already I miss you
can I blow it away
with hope that tomorrow's
climate will be calming?

someday, we'll
figure this out

perhaps the winds
will stir the sands
gently
and let everything
fall into place
