We are moving down the road now... we determined last night that we have a core five that can really sell the "ecclectic crew of Senior Jocks" who are now facing the world after graduation, and needing each other, but also needing to establish some identity for themselves beyond Letterman Jock Baseball Stars in their limited high school worlds. Our core team... Chris, Matt, Mike, Rob, Ramon can fill out this roster but now we have to find the other four of the Nine Lives. We need breaker/hip hop/freestylers... I want to round up my old crew and see what kind of shape they're in...but we probably should audition these roles... and get some really versatile dancer/comic relief guys.

Also we determined that instead of an "eccentric Zen master type" in the role of the unconventional team manager... we might develop a frustrated BMW driving "Jock wanna be"... who finally finds his in with his "hero" classmates with his business savvy and connections. We were thinking Adam could pull this off ...and then maybe developing a resourceful and comical side-kick character to Adam's role (Skipper and Gilligan) that Scott might could play. I can see some cool things coming out of this character, I know I could write some groovy scenes for him rising up and leading these guys to a "post high school way of thinking" that the audience could really connect with.

I think the next step is that each cast member needs to start "painting the true colors" of their character... writing a brief bio sort of ... what he's feeling ... what's he facing... who he's influenced by... where he comes from...what matters to him, etc.

Once we get a clear handle on eac h character's "personality" and "place in the pack" then the scenes will be much easier to write...

that's all for now... Chris if you read this will you make sure that Adam get's the board address, so he can start contributing. Thanks.
