Subject: Wheeler Ranch Employees/Farm hands/cooks

My stepmother's great grandfather, Fredrick D. Hart, worked on the Wheeler Ranch in the early 1880's until 1897 when he moved to southwestern Minnesota and raised fine Angus Beef. He learned the vocation by working on the Wheeler Ranch. He met his Swedish wife there, Anna Johnson, who was a cook. They married in the county.

By the way, thanks for the WONDERFULLY thorough history of Odebolt. What a wealth of photos and information. I was thrilled. Your website flat out surpasses the majority of locale websites. Three cheers!
