Subject: How can I locate the Jamestown, NY branch of Swedish Society of First Lutheran Church

My husband's Grandfather, Henning Carlson, was a member of this society according to his obit (unknown years). We are researching his immigration into the US from Sweden but are unsure of the year. He was born in 1903 and died in 1993 but in Jamestown NY. We believe he spent the majority of his adult life in and around Jamestown. We have been unsuccessful in locating his papers with Ellis Island. We have found his obit and it lists his social clubs so I thought we might find out information this way. Thank you for your time and attention to this question.
