Clinton Center Cemetery (also known as the Stanzel cemetery) in Section 22 of Clinton township, has a listing of the following:

(between these two stones there is a large monument with the wording "Smith"

Smith, John, Iowa PVT 37 US Vol Inf., Apr 2, 1938 (A standard has been placed near his stone with this information, Spanish War Veterans, Army, United, Navy 1898-1902)

Smith, Theodore F. Illinois, QM 2 USNR, World War II, June 30, 1912-Sept. 19, 1957 (American Legion Marker)
