Subject: Model info for Cuba

I'll be doing some shooting in Cuba this summer and have heard different stories on finding models there. Mainly I've heard that it is frowned upon and no agencies exist. Does anyone know if this is true?
Second, I want to try some new gear, so if anyone needs some shots for their books / non-commercial use, drop me a line. I can travel to most spots in So Cal. I've done some shoots already, but would like a few more before heading down that way.
