Long hair looks gorgeous if it's cared for and is thick and strong. My best mate is a red-head and she has the most luscious long red hair, it's extremely strong and thick and I would kill for hair like that. It reaches her waist and she wears it in a plait but it always looks shiny and clean.

I think men prefer that sort of thing to women who take the "tomboy" approach and have only a few inches of hair.
