Subject: Buffy/Angel

I am surprised to see so many sites/fans still devoted to the series. I, family and friends who were all fans from the start stopped watching after they stopped the crossover shows and mangled the characters. From the departure of Oz,Doyle,Kendra and Buffys mom to the addition of that stupid "Key" storyline and Angels son! We also hated the Buffy/Spike & Angel/Cordy romance angle. And we were there from the start. We range in age from 12 to over 60 and come from all economic/ethnic backgrounds. And we were all very disappointed at how these shows changed from pretty entertaining to irritating and silly. What happened?! Well, we knew with so many distasteful changes on Buffy that it would end sooner than expected and we are surprised to see that Angel made it back. Spike is a cool character but they never should have changed him from the way he was originally - now hes' just boring! We do love Gunn and his romance - but its not enough to bring us back. No problem - we can get our sci-fi/supernatural high from Enterprise,Smallville and repeats of Charmed!
