Hello,

I've got a little Problem with my C64G. I got it as a gift, as it was not working (no Power-LED and no Video-out, Fuse ok). Now, I've got a working Mainboard as a gift, too. And here comes the Problem: the original (non-working) Mainboard has a 8580 SID Chip, the new Mainboard was originally equipped with a 6581 SID, but now the SID is missing. Can I use the 8580 SID anyway? Or will this damage the Mainboard?
