Forthwilt is a middle-aged squirrel of golden color. She usually wears her light green tunic and navy cloak. She carries only one weapon: her axe. She is very skilled and has won various awards in her youth with her axe.

She was the only child in her family, and when she reached the age of 12 seasons, she ran away from her home. Forthwilt then found her future husband, and at the age of 19 seasons, she married. She had four children, and they have all grown up and started families of their own. Her husband, Jiker, frequently visits them, so she is usually by herself at home(not really(see two paragraphs down)).

But why, you ask, can she not visit her own family? Well, it is very simple. Forthwilt is afraid of heights. She cannot go more then three yards above ground before she must scamper back down rather than be sick to her stomach. You see, it is a very sorrowful thing to be a squirrel and be afraid of heights. All of her childern have built their homes in trees, so she can not visit them.

Forthwilt has many friends that keep her company in her underground home. (for the underground part, see above paragraph)Sometimes her children visit her, and they have a feast. Her companion of all times is her friend Quan the Sparrow. He isn't afraid of heights, so he is her eyes in the air.
