Ryan called to Gen. "That was easy for them huh! I'm going to try him over the pheasant feeder, upright rails and the hedge into the next field." He told Her.
The pheasabt feeder was a pyramid shaped affair with a tray beneath it. It was 2'9 and abit of a spread. Ryan asked Spider for canter this time. The horse flew across the turf, but steadied as they approached the jump. Ryan push Spider on with his legs to encourage him. The horse put his head down and jumped it wildly high and wide, almost unseating Ryan. Ryan pulled him up and patted ryan, speaking gently. The pair approached the feeder again, more confident, Spider jumped it well, but still a little high. The rails were also about the same height, thick telegraph poles, but these were easy to jump, and spider thought so too, jumping them happily. Ryan now aimed him for the hedge row. A part was clipped out so that it was smaller and flatter, it led to the next field where there were more jumps. Spider cantered effortlessly towards it, ears pricked. As they took off he noticed the extra width and stretched out his for legs and neck. He pecked a little on landing, but Ryan patted him, pulled him up and waited for Gen and Beau.
