Subject: Riding Superlative

She walked her large thoroughbred gelding around the sand school letting him stretch. Then she asked him for a trot and circled him on both reins around the school, working him on the bit. She tried a little routine that she wanted to try in the working hunter and was pleased with him. He was working well. On the corner she squeezed for canter and cantered down the long side. On the bend she shortened him up and cantered a 20m circle, then she cantered serpentines, changing reins then cantered on the opposite rein. Nicely warmed up, Fiona decided to pop him over a few fences. She popped off and found some rustic poles, which she put up on jump wings to about 3 foot. She jumped back on and cantered around it before jumping it quickly over it. He was really good, so Fiona diecided to end on a good note. She walked him around on a long rein.
