hi children, was i dreaming or did that really happen on saturday?!? as i walked into Gosforth park i felt as if i'd stepped onto the set of 'the wizard of Oz'. (Never before did i want to be the owner of a vicious alsatian so badly, but at least i got DJ Scrooges' MC to autograph my crisp packet) Unfortunately, the 'spirals played their most uninspired set to date, which is hardly surprising in the surreal circumstances and at the end of each song i didn't know whether to clap or hand sweeties out. At least the boys will be back in more familiar surroundings on friday nite.
