i'll do my best to get down to see you on wednesday...

re- 4 track...it was £299 but it was about 4 years back i got it, and it was a pretty high end of the range yamaha...i prefer tape ones, im not into digital recorders i prefer the authentic old sound so i keep to using tapes...

you can get decent ones these days in town for about £100...or better still, look in the ad mags maybe?
