**Male sat not too far off, having just returned to the city. It being the dead of night, he'come to the beach, not expecting anyone else to be awake. He was sitting with his legs out in front of him, elbows resting on his knees. He was listening so intently to the waves that he hadn't heard her approach, but once the singing began, he snapped to attention. A small smile graced his features as he recognized who it was. Still, he'd remain silent, in case she didn't want company. He tried to keep his thoughts off of what he had done the last time he saw her. It seemed so long ago, though in reality it hadn't been.**
