i have had 3 cats and one dog die and a crab and a turrle too (lots of fish also, but they don't count, they are more like decoration than pets) i know how you feel man. it really sucks. it is bound to happen when you get close to any living thing. i remember what help me was getting a new kitten. i know it is impossible to relace an indivisula pet but it helped at lot, for me atleast. i think it is better to get another than to stop having pets b/c you know that they have to die sooner or later.
