I just felt like everyone needde a big update on Moses. I hope this isnt too long. Well...
First off I am very happy at school. Kent is a cool place to be and I think the boarding school environment reeks of awesomeness. The only bad part of my school is the fact that we must all partake in religious activities. We have to go to chapel on tuesday mornings, thursday evenings, and sunday mornings. I dont go on sunday mornings because I go to anti-Jesus place on friday nights (Temple).
I feel like taking a break from my school life and telling you all a funny joke. Lachlan told me this one. So there is a captain of a ship. One day a crew member comes up to him and says, "Captain, we have 3 pirate ships on the horizon coming towards us." The captain then says, "Yarr...get me my red shirt." So the crew member gets him the red shirt. There is a huge batttle and the captain comes out on top. After the fight, the crew memeber goes over to the captain and asks, "Captain, why did you ask for your red shirt before the fight?" And the captain said, "Yarr...because if I get wounded it will hide my blood so the other crew members will keep fightng." and the crew member says, "o what a good idea." Another time, the crew member says, "Captain, we have 100 pirate ships on the horizon coming towards us." the Captain then says, "Yarr...get me my brown pants." Joke Over. There is also another variation to it that my friend Max came up with it goes. the crew member says, "Captain, we have 100 strippers on the horizon." The the captain says, "Yarr...get me my white pants." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ooooo i love that joke.
OK. The grades here are not named Freshman, Sohphomore etc. Their are called 3rd form, 4th form, 5th form, and 6th from. Well for the first indicator, midterm, of my life at kent i just missed the honor roll. We have a grading system of 6.0. 5-6=A, 4-5=B, 3-4=C, 2-3=D, 1-2=F, 0-1=Really bad F. honor roll is a gpa of 4.1 with no grade lower than a three, and high honor roll is a gpa of 5.3 with no grade lower than a 4. My gpa was 4.05. My Latin grade was my highest with a 5.0. My geography, Biology, and 3rd Form Seminar class was next with 4.5's. My Geometry grade was next with a 3.5. And my worst grade, English with a 2.5.
i am now going to tell you a brief summary of what I did and what I am doing right now in my classes. If you do not care about my classes then skip this paragraph. Latin I am not going to talk about because it is a language, and languages are not the most interesting stuff. But my latin teacher is the funniest man in the world. He is very flamboyantly gay, but is in the closet, and he is very funny. He prances around and swishes his hand and makes silly comments. like the one where the other class was not being quiet so he would take out his shotgun and SHOOT THEM. he was joking you morons. In Geography, at the moment, we are focusing on North America, mostly Canada and the US. This is such an easy class. I could do it WITH MY EYES CLOSED. CLOSED OF THE EYES. I have a essay due in a couple of weeks that is based on a state of my choice. I am chosing Wyoming because it is a state with nothing in it. SEE. SEE THE EASINESS. In Biology, we just finished learning about the structure of a cell, e.g. nucleus, mitochondria, chloroplast. We also just finished learning about Photosynthesis, Glycolosis, Cellular Respiration, and Fermentation. I like Biology. We just had a test on this stuff yesterday. On the test pne of the wuestions was, "would you like an altiod(1 point)." He, Mr Hanby, would then come around and give us an altiod if we said yes. FUNNY MCGEE. question 25 was better though. He had a question about what is produced by Cellular respiration and the answers were, ATP, CO2, NADH, and MONKEYS WITH NECKTIES!!!!! MONKEYS WITH NECKTIES!!!!!! I laughed out loud when I read that. Geometry we are working on a computer program called the Geometer's sketchpad where we are creating translations, Dilations, Reflections, and Rotations of shapes. It is tres fun. We bring in our comp. and play with sheeps. FUN FOR EVERYONE!!! In English, for the first indicator, we read the bible. It was not fun. I am bad at the bible. notice the 2.5 grade. Now we are reading the Odyssey, which I am a pro at since we read it last year. I am now actually talking a lot in class, and Mr. Grant, my teacher, finally appreciates what I say. good stuff.
ahhh. and that is Kent. The wonderful world of Kent. I am sick of typping so I will stop now. Long post.
