There were three games played yesterday.
China played Costa Rica. (Costa Rica) The game was scoreless through the first half, but halfway through the second half, Costa Rica scored to take the lead. Four minutes later, Costa Rica scores agian to add another goal to their lead. Final score: 2-0 Costa Rica.
Japan played Belgium. (Belgiium) No hosting team has ever lost in their opening match, so Japan hoped that they would keep on with that tradition. In the first half, no one scored. Early on in the second half, Belgium scored the first goal of the game. Two minutes later, Japan scored to tie it up. Ten minutes later, Japan scored to take the lead. But soon enough, Belgium scored to tie it up at 2-2. Final score: 2-2.
South Korea played Poland. (who cares) Halfway through the first half, Korea scored for the first goal. Then early in the second half they scored agian for the last goal of the game. Final score: 2-0 South Korea.
