Dear Lynne:
Generally speaking, we prefer to publish restaurant reviews from established food writers, but on the other hand, an offer of gossip about Mr. Gates is very persuasive leverage, indeed! Do you have any idea just where in the Seattle/Bellevue area he happens to dine?
Seriously though, we will never say "no" to an articulate, thoughtful and -- most of all -- unbiased review on any subject that might be of interest to our readers. We tend to take a step back from any reviews that sound either like a commercial endorsement for a place or product, or pieces that slam something so hard that it's hard to believe there isn't a personal grudge involved! Other than that, take a cruise around our site, and you'll get a sense of the general "flavour" of our writing (note Canadian spelling).
We're also very happy to receive tips on places we may not yet know about (and your personal views may persuade us to review them ourselves sooner rather than later), and we also welcome feedback on products you are CONSIDERING buying, and those you have already bought and had varying satisfaction from. So please, please write us more. Send us samples of your reviews. Send us (small, please) jpegs, if you have them, and ideas, tips and -- did we say gossip? Always welcome!
All best wishes,
Anne Garber,
Managing Director, evalu8.org
