 同以前相比真係差左D,最明顯係一條中場線.,雖然碧咸,謝拉特,史高斯都係有實力既球員,但同90年果屆既一條中場線-----比士利 笠臣 柏列 班尼斯(仲有麥馬漢,加斯居尼)相比,無論係技術抑或組織能力都相差一段距離.而家英格蘭既中場創造力真係好缺乏,尋日入個球都係靠盧斯奧既解圍失誤先至入到.其餘時間都組織唔到乜野攻勢去威脅巴西(淨係靠死球)

從尋日一仗來看,英格蘭確實欠缺了一個類似施丹既playmaker去策動攻勢.平心而論,碧咸仲未可以做到playmaker呢個工作.碧咸只係會係邊線出波,要佢去放D直線係難為左佢,反而謝拉特有時可以放到D直線俾前鋒.

前鋒方面,實際上只打奧雲一個,希斯基勤力有餘,但威脅性不足.以前既連尼加拍華度,舒利亞拍奧雲,明顯比而家銳利得多.

另外,英格蘭真係好似唔識打地波咁(可能係缺乏條件打地波),D球員拎到波,就經常大腳斬上前,好似唔識點樣搓下波,慢慢推住上組織咁.

雖然好多人認為而家既英格蘭球員好年輕,2年後既歐洲國家杯同埋4年後既世界杯會係佢地既收成期,但若果未能解決欠缺keyman,奧雲拍檔同只懂高Q大棍呢三個問題,相信英格蘭只會令其支持者繼續失望落去.
