Subject: Well, Figured out what happened to my computer

Seems yesturday there was an accident that severed some fiber optic lines on this part of the state, so while I could connect to the internet, I could go to ANY sites (along with my ICQ being down for the better part of the day) They had it fixed and running by last night so everything is kosher now.
